Secret Santa questionnaire
Your questionnaire appears here once the page loads.
Names stay in your browser. We do not receive, save, or email them. Reveal links carry each match in the part of the address after the #, which browsers do not send to servers, but a link only encodes the match; it does not encrypt it. Anyone who opens or decodes a link can see that match, so send each one only to its person. Nothing is stored between visits, so download the organizer copy if you need it.
How to use a Secret Santa questionnaire
A short form takes the guesswork out of a gift exchange. Each person answers a few questions, the organizer hands the answers to the matching Secret Santa without a name, and gifts end up closer to what people want.
- Choose 6 to 10 questions. Short forms get filled in; long ones come back half empty.
- Include allergies and "please do not buy" questions, since they prevent the most awkward gifts.
- Set the budget and return date so every form carries them.
- Collect forms before the draw, then give each Secret Santa the form of the person they drew, with the name covered.
What is on the form
The builder offers 27 original questions in five groups: favorites, sizes, allergies and limits, what to buy or avoid, and wish list items. You can add up to five of your own. Printing uses your browser, so choose Save as PDF there if you want a file. The text download is a plain template you can paste into an email or a shared document.
Common questions
Is this an online form people can fill in?
No. It makes a printable or pasteable form. Nothing is submitted anywhere. Collect answers on paper, or paste the text into your own email or document.
Can I keep answers private from the group?
Yes, if you collect them yourself. Hand each Secret Santa only the form of the person they drew, and cover the name line first.
